Welcome
Welcome to Brazil Naz. It is our sincere hope that you feel God's presence in our services and Christ's love in our people.
Information about the church, our ministries, upcoming events, and more can be found at brazilnaz.com.
We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.
For our families with children
If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.
On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.
Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.
Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.
Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

Easter Offering
Whether you participate in Faith Promise giving for world missions, be encouraged to give something extra at Easter time. The World Evangelism Fund was largely supported in the past by major offerings at Easter and Thanksgiving. The plan for Faith Promise giving has changed that emphasis somewhat, but we can give an added boost to Nazarene Missions by still participating at those two special times of the year. Thanks for your giving to missions!
East Side Staff Appreciation Luncheon
Our church has been hosting a community event over the last few years. We have provided a staff appreciation luncheon for our neighbors, East Side Elementary. This luncheon will be held on the school’s field day, Thursday, May 15. Would you like to help bless our community? The luncheon includes a variety of salads with chicken & ham salad sandwiches and dessert. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. We will be serving about 40 people. If you are available to help serve at the luncheon, you can sign up for that as well.
Walk to Emmaus
Many of you are familiar with the discipleship weekend called “Walk to Emmaus.” Pastor, Bill Stearns & Don Brannon will be working on the Men’s Walk this coming weekend. Let’s remember to pray for them.

This Weeks’ Message
“Two Imperatives of Resurrection"
Scripture: Matthew 28:1-10, 16-20
28 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat on it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. 7 And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you."
8 So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him. 10 Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell My brethren to go to Galilee, and there they will see Me."
