Church shouldn’t be intimidating.

Going to a new church for the first time can be uncomfortable. New faces. Unfamiliar surroundings. Unknown worship style. You may have a lot of questions, and we understand. Many of us have felt the same way, and that’s why the welcome you get at Brazil Church of the Nazarene will be warm and inviting.

Come as you are

To help you prepare, just know that we are a “come as you are” church. Wear what is comfortable. There is no dress code. Your fellow worshippers will be praising God in blue jeans and t-shirts, suits and ties, and everything in between. We do ask for modesty out of respect for entering the House of the Lord.

worship style

Our worship is led by a multi-generational praise team. We sing predominantly contemporary songs. We also value the messages delivered in the classic hymns, so we often have a blend of music types.

scripture-based instruction

Pastor Betts’ delivers his weekly sermon so we may guide our lives with Scripture-based truths.

Your family at Brazil Church of the Nazarene loves children! We offer Sunday School classes for all ages. During worship, we have scripture-based age-appropriate lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. We offer a staffed Nursery for ages 0-3, a Wee Worship group for ages 3-5 who are also potty trained, and a Children’s Church for those in elementary school.

We have a Youth Group that meets on Thursdays at 6:00 PM for middle school and high school students.

We value the safety and security of our children. Every Children’s Ministries worker and helper must be approved by the Children’s Ministries Committee and have a background check before they are allowed to teach or aide.
