April 14, 2024 Bulletin

Welcome

Welcome to Brazil Naz. It is our sincere hope that you feel God's presence in our services and Christ's love in our people.

Information about the church, our ministries, upcoming events, and more can be found at brazilnaz.com.

We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.

For our families with children

If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.

On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.

Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.

Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.

Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

Chili Cookoff April 14!

Our Chili Cookoff (to raise money for SWID Camps this summer) is today after morning worship. Come and join us!! A donation container will be on the serving table. It cost $220 for kid’s camp and about $275 for teen camp. We try to help our children/teens pay half of their fees.

Ladies’ Bible Study

Our Ladies’ Bible Study will meet on Thursday nights starting this Thursday, April 18th. We will begin a study entitled “Walk as Jesus Walked” by Ray Vanderlaan. This group will meet at 6pm for Bible study, prayer, and encouragement.

“We must not quit meeting together, as some are doing. No, we need to keep on encouraging each other. This becomes more and more important as you see the Day getting closer. Hebrews 10:25 (ERV)

Thanks so much for the wedding celebration you gave us. The decorations, the refreshments, the gifts, and the fellowship were all so appreciated. Your kindness has meant so much.

-Trent and Alisha Tofte

Robby Nance is planning a time for church bowling at Brazilian Lanes in Brazil this Saturday, April 20, at noon.

Sermon Notes

"God Is Everywhere"

Scripture: Psalm 139:7-12

7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?

Or where can I flee from Your presence?

8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;

If I make my bed in [a]hell, behold, You are there.

9 If I take the wings of the morning,

And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea,

10 Even there Your hand shall lead me,

And Your right hand shall hold me.

11 If I say, "Surely the darkness shall [b]fall on me,"

Even the night shall be light about me;

12 Indeed, the darkness [c]shall not hide from You,

But the night shines as the day;

The darkness and the light are both alike to You.

VBS needs 12 ice cream pails. Spread the word if you know someone who uses this type of ice cream.

New connection missionaries

Nate and Hope Owens, our previously assigned connection missionaries will be returning to the United States this summer. So, our district has been assigned a new missionary family to finish out the calendar year. They are Mark and Jazz Eugenio who serve in Bangkok Thailand.
