The More Things Change...

For the last few weeks I’ve been thinking, “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” So much focus has been placed on changes, but nothing at the core is really any different. God is still working to save sinners. Satan is still working to destroy lives. And you and I get to choose God or evil. I choose God and His will for my life!

Zoom info, January 20, 2021

We had a wonderful time of fellowship and prayer last Wednesday during the Zoom meeting. There were about 10 people in attendance (that doesn’t count the dogs and cats!). We hope that more of you will join in.

Pastor will be hosting another Zoom meeting to provide a chance for prayer, fellowship and encouragement. Again, the meeting will be held Wednesday, at 6:30pm. The meeting ID is 734 5296 0058. The passcode is 11RzPY.

If you are unfamiliar with Zoom, you can download Zoom from your smartphone or tablet’s app store. If you want to use a computer with a camera, you must type zoom.us in your web browser. At the top right of the screen click “join a meeting.” Type the meeting number into the appropriate space. Click the “download now” in the center of the screen. Click “open file” at the bottom left of the screen to open Zoom, then enter the meeting passcode exactly the way it is given, and click “join meeting.” If you arrive early, nothing will happen until Pastor starts the meeting. Your computer must be equipped with a camera, microphone and speakers to enable you to participate in the meeting with maximum benefit.

Happy New Year 2021

As a New Year begins, has anything really changed? The negatives and positives surrounding our lives continue as before. But personal improvement always happens when I get closer to God. If you want 2021 to be a better year for you—then seek to have a real encounter with a Holy God.
