March 2, 2025 Bulletin

Welcome

Welcome to Brazil Naz. It is our sincere hope that you feel God's presence in our services and Christ's love in our people.

Information about the church, our ministries, upcoming events, and more can be found at brazilnaz.com.

We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.

For our families with children

If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.

On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.

Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.

Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.

Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

The devotional book does not begin until next Sunday. If you plan to use the book, you can pick up a copy in the foyer while supplies last.

Robby Nance has made plans for those interested to go bowling at Brazilian Lanes this Saturday at noon. Come and join the fun! Each person is responsible for their own shoe rental and lane fees.

Prayer Cards

There are 3 more weeks to help pray for our church kiddos! Pick up or return your prayer cards in the basket at the Welcome Center. Bring the card back next week and swap for another card. Let’s keep these cards circulating!

No Family Game Night for March

We will not be having a Family Game Night in March. We hope to resume in April.

Crisis Care Kits

Rhonda Schafer is helping us to collect items for Crisis Care Kits. The list of required items has been updated since last year. Each kit must contain EXACTLY what is listed in the requirements or it will be denied. You may purchase the items yourself from the enclosed list, or you can make a donation, and Rhonda will purchase the items and assemble the kits for you. Each kit costs a little over $20 to make. Rhonda will provide the required Ziplock bag in the foyer.

This Weeks’ Message

"God’s Faithful Widow"

Scripture: Luke 2:36-38

36 Now there was one, Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was of a great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; 37 and this woman was a widow [a]of about eighty-four years, who did not depart from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And coming in that instant she gave thanks to [b]the Lord, and spoke of Him to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Sermon Notes:

New Care and Connection Missionaries for 2025

The Southwest Indiana District has been assigned a new Care and Connection Missionary Family for 2025. Meet Martin & Cezarina Glendenning from Zagreb, Croatia. A prayer card for this family has been inserted into the bulletin. Keep the card in your Bible, on your refrigerator or wherever you can see it and be reminded to pray for them. You can read more about them on the bulletin board, or you can google them to watch a missionary service that features them as speakers.

On the back of the prayer card, you will find a picture/information of Beatriz from Brazil, South America. We sponsor her with our VBS offering. We can pray for her as well. She wrote us a new letter this month. You can find it on the bulletin board in the foyer.
