The transition from Thanksgiving to Advent is instant. From thanking God for His provisions and help, we turn immediately to thinking about the arrival of Jesus on planet earth. Advent is preparation because Jesus is coming! And His coming brings HOPE to our thoughts and actions as we scurry towards Christmas.
