We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.
For our families with children
If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.
On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.
Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.
Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.
Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

Africa is coming to Brazil!
Next Sunday, September 8, at 5:00pm, here in our Family Center, Steve and Rhonda Schafer will be bringing a presentation in pictures and stories to their recent trip to three countries in Africa – South Africa, Mozambique and Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). There will be snacks to munch on while we enjoy the Schafer’s special time of sharing what Nazarene Missions looks like in these three African nations. Also, we will see and hear how our World Evangelism giving is at work! Join us in the Family center next Sunday at 5:00pm.
Alabaster Offering
September is Alabaster month. This offering helps needy congregations to purchase or repair buildings and property of church facilities in the Church of the Nazarene across the globe. The “church” offering container will be on the welcome center in the foyer starting next Sunday.
Remembering Joyce Swartz
Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to the family of Joyce Swartz. Her earthly body was laid to rest this past Friday. Her spirit is safe in the arms of Jesus!
Sermon Notes
"Praying About the Need"
Scripture: Nehemiah 1:4-11
4 So it was, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned for many days; I was fasting and praying before the God of heaven.
5 And I said: "I pray, Lord God of heaven, O great and awesome God, You who keep Your covenant and mercy with those who love [a]You and observe [b]Your commandments, 6 please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father''s house and I have sinned. 7 We have acted very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, the statutes, nor the ordinances which You commanded Your servant Moses. 8 Remember, I pray, the word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, ''If you [c]are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations; 9 but if you return to Me, and keep My commandments and do them, though some of you were cast out to the farthest part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and bring them to the place which I have chosen as a dwelling for My name.'' 10 Now these are Your servants and Your people, whom You have redeemed by Your great power, and by Your strong hand. 11 O Lord, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who desire to fear Your name; and let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man."
For I was the king''s cupbearer.
