Welcome
Welcome to Brazil Naz. It is our sincere hope that you feel God's presence in our services and Christ's love in our people.
Information about the church, our ministries, upcoming events, and more can be found at brazilnaz.com.
We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.
For our families with children
If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.
On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.
Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.
Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.
Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

We are restructuring the “Over-50” Luncheon to include adults of all ages and add new themes and fun as well. Our first “Happy Hearts Fellowship” will be Thursday, August 15 at noon in the family center. Our “cool summer” theme will feature cool, summer foods! Sandwiches will be provided, so you need only provide a cold salad or side dish or a pie to top with a scoop of ice cream. PS: Wear a silly summer hat if you have one. Come join the fun!! If you have any questions, call Cindy Stearns (812-691-1924).
TERRE HAUTE MISSIONAL ZONE GATHERING
Sunday, August 18th
5:00 pm – Food/Games/Fishing/Fellowship
6:00 pm – Worship Service - Garrett Lee of St. Bernice CotN will be speaking
Hosted by Greencastle Church of the Nazarene
We are excited to host an evening of fellowship and fun for all ages. We will be serving a delicious meal of burgers, fried chicken, pork, hot dogs, and all the fixings. There will also be desserts and drinks available.
In addition to the food, we will have open fishing at our pond, outdoor games for all ages, and plenty of opportunities for fellowship.
We are also pleased to offer childcare for infants, toddlers, and children up to 12 years old for the service.
We believe this event will be a wonderful opportunity for our churches to come together and build relationships.
~Pastor Phil Diaz
Focus on Missions
The country of modern-day Pakistan exists in an area that dates back to one of the oldest civilizations in the world and has cultural influences from Persians, Greeks, Scythians, Arabs, Afghans, and Turks. The Church of the Nazarene registered and established work in Pakistan in 1996. From 4 learning centers across the country, approximately 60 are studying for the ministry; and as a result, 29 (two of whom were women) were ordained in the January district assembly. There are 284 fully organized churches with 24,563 members. PRAY for the safety of Christians, for Pakistan is struggling with economic and political crises. PRAY for the Church of the Nazarene as it seeks to bring the love of Jesus to new areas in Pakistan. There is growth in every area of our Church in that country, and the future is bright. Thank you for praying for Nazarene missions in Pakistan!
Sermon Notes
"God’s Fight School"
Scripture: Deuteronomy 32:9-12
For the Lord''s portion is His people;
Jacob is the place of His inheritance.
10 "He found him in a desert land
And in the wasteland, a howling wilderness;
He encircled him, He instructed him,
He kept him as the apple of His eye.
11 As an eagle stirs up its nest,
Hovers over its young,
Spreading out its wings, taking them up,
Carrying them on its wings,
12 So the Lord alone led him,
And there was no foreign god with him.
